Three days of sun do not a summer make

Three.  I kid you not.
This morning, I woke up to this:

So today I will be back working on Florabunda, to cheer myself up!

Meanwhile, I got my senior activity aprons done and gone.
In case you never heard of them, they are for seniors with dementia, to give them something to do with their hands, keeping them occupied.

Just starting with plain purchased aprons, I added a zipper, button and tab, grommets for lacing with an attached shoelace, attached string of mardi gras beads to fool with and another little pocket which is an acrylic window to slip a little photo into, maybe, backed with polar fleece.  So lots of different textures and things to do!

That's all for now.
Love,
Sarah

PS If anyone has some extra sun this summer, feel free to send it on over here to us.

Hi Sarah, I came over from QuiltvilleChat. Yes, we have sun and 100 degree temps here in Missouri, we'd like to swap for your rain for a while!

Love your Stars and Bars in patriotic colors!!
