Sometimes, I can't help myself.

I see a thing and I have to try it.

There I was, nice and innocent, checking out the blogs I follow and WHAM!

Supergoof started a new thing from this book, Quilted Diamonds by Linda Franz.
Cool!  I'd never seen that before!

It has applique, my new favorite activity, and it looked like a good idea to hand sew it too, so perfect candidate for me right now  :  )

So that was my fun yesterday, after teaching art class and carpooling, then in the midst of cooking dinner three separate times...

That turned out a-dorable!!

A super fun puzzle for me is figuring out how to draft it and then how to sew it together...And then take its picture with some funky stuff on the shelf.  lol

I have no idea whether this is the same size as in the book but my Easy Six diamond ruler is good for 4" across if I add the seam allowances to it, so that's what I did here.

So Cute!
