Color reason found

Got all these blocks together and working on borders now.

Here's why that color (magenta with brick red and green) works!

Ice plant!

I've been mainly thinking about sewing knits this week.  Nothing to show.  Need to spring into action on that.

And playing with these, in my what seems eternal search for a take-along project to be working on:

Rose Star (tiny version)...

Patchwork of the Crosses, playing with a border print...

I wonder what anyone else is doing for a take-along project...What are you working on at the playground or the dentist or during hockey practice (for example!) ???

Those colors are vibrant together, Sarah.
My take along project is no longer needed--kids are grown and I don't sit and wait--but it was a grandmother's flower garden. It may even get finished someday. I love what you've done with that border print!

The Ice Plant is gorgeous and is nature's blending of the colors of your quilt! Perfect picture!

The blocks you are making out of the border fabric are really good. I can never come up with that stuff myself - you have a great eye. :)
