What's blue and made out of ribbon?

...And says "First Place  San Francisco Quilter's Guild" ?
...And is on MY QUILT?!!!!!

AaaaaaaHHH!

Right after I almost cried, I was sooooo excited!
Now I am so glad I ripped out all the quilting and did it over.
:  )

Hooray!!!

I am so lucky to be in that guild, with such amazing quilters.  Here are some of the other wonderful entries on display,..

These first three by Carol Damm.  Love.

This one by Barbara Strick.  I really like the texture especially and the colors too...

These several that follow are by Roberta Walker, one of the featured artists...

I love the quilting on this one!

And the texture here with the indigos...

Gorgeous sashiko quilt

This one by Kathy Vaughn...I like her original design!

This one is of silk and I love the quilting.  Made by Sue Fox. Wishing now I had a better picture to show how rich the colors really were.

I love the ribbons our guild gives out!  Isn't this one funny?!

It for now!

Cheers,
Sarah

Hi, Sarah. Many congrats for a well-deserved ribbon. Your quilt is gorgeous. And thanks for showing some of the other beautiful entries as well. You guys have a lot going on there in San Francisco! Now I'll simply have to come say "hi" next time I'm in the Frisco area.
best, nadia
